Sending hand notes of appreciation is not only good for the world, but good for our students. We know the science of gratitude is powerful, but taking the time to write it down for others is also a useful tool to teach our students.

Print the cards up on cardstock and have students pick one they want. Give them an envelope and some pens. Instruct them to write a note to someone that could use it for the day. If it is in your budget have a set printed up for every student or have them design their own cards to practice the habit of giving thanks towards others.
