Polaroid snapshot

A few ways to use the Polaroid snapshot:

  1. Use one page at a time and put on projector in front of the room. Pick a question and have students journal or discuss with a partner/small group their thoughts/feelings/opinions. For example: which picture makes you the happiest? saddest? most annoyed?
  2. Print up for students and have them write captions for each photo that relate to how they are feeling in the moment or that day.
  3. Use for gratitude jars: print up, cut out and have students write down 3 things they are thankful for in the moment.
  4. Go to canva.com and have students make their own design. You can use their Polaroid picture frame as I did and have students put their own pictures in there. You can also print up a blank template, print and hand out to students. Have them make their own picture album and each photo they create can have a specific focus. You can do a day on values, a day on gratitude, a day on goals, a day on things that make them smile, etc.
  5. Print, cut up and put in a bag. Have students draw one Polaroid and write down the feeling that picture brings up for them.
